Thailand
- In the address example below 33/37 stands for the group of houses (33) and the house number within that group (37).
- Moo 4 means the 4th village in the Cherngtalya province. A road name would not necessarily need to be included, but city addresses, do usually include road names.
- The name of the province can be preceded by a T. for Tambon, meaning province, i.e. T. Cherngtalay.
- Amphur means district, which can be abbreviated to A, i.e. A. Talang. Each district is usually made up of a number of provinces.
- The 5-digit postcode should be placed to the right of the province or city name. The first 2 digits of the postcode represent the province/city; the last 3 digits represent the local post office.
- Example:
Ms Khomapast Techkarnjanaruk
Company X
33/27 Moo 4
Srisoonthorn Road
Cherngtalay, Amphur Talang
Phuket 83110
